Terms & Conditions – GDPR

Privacy Policy | Cookies | Personal Data

Our company understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used and shared online and otherwise. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits this website, www.brainon.gr (“Our Site”), and we will only collect and use personal data in the ways described here, and in a manner that is consistent with your obligations and rights under the law (GDPR).

Our company complies with applicable legislative, regulatory, and contractual provisions regarding the collection, storage, retrieval, and destruction of such data, in particular the requirements of European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of Personal Data (GDPR).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and make sure you fully understand it. Your acceptance of our Privacy Policy is deemed to occur upon your first use of Our Site www.brainon.gr. If you do not accept and agree with this Privacy Policy, you must stop using Our Website IMMEDIATELY. This Policy applies to the use of any and all Data collected by us in relation to your use of the Website and any Services or Systems on it.

Rules of our services

  • Bookings are made by phone, through the website www.brainon.gr, via partner platforms, and in person at the store. In all cases, the user accepts the terms and is obliged to have read them before making a booking, and to have made them known to the other members of their group.
  • Entry is strictly prohibited for persons with serious health problems. If you have health issues (for example, heart conditions, panic attacks, etc.) or are undergoing treatment for any condition, you must inform our company representative (in writing) before using our services so that we can assess whether you may use our services. Our company has taken, to the extent humanly possible, all necessary measures to safeguard your integrity and accepts no liability in the event of an accident. If for any reason you feel unwell, pain, panic, etc., or anything else that leads you to interrupt the service provided, you must immediately and without delay inform the safety officer and leave the premises.
  • Participation by minors in games marked 18+ is strictly prohibited. If they conceal their age and enter the game, their guardians bear exclusive responsibility for their physical and mental integrity, as provided by law.
  • Staff reserve the right to refuse entry and/or participation to any person under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances, as well as to any person whose behaviour is deemed aggressive, offensive, dangerous, or unsuitable for the safety of the premises and staff. If removal concerns the entire group, the minimum booking amount is payable in full. If removal concerns a single participant, the booking for the rest of the group proceeds as normal, while the removed person must not remain on the premises.
  • Each room has a specific recommended number of participants for the best game experience. If your group consists of more people than the recommended maximum, participation is possible at your own responsibility. For each additional person beyond the stated maximum, the same per-person charge applies as for the maximum number of players.
  • In rooms with actor participation, any form of verbal or physical violence against the actor is prohibited. In such a case, the game is permanently terminated and the players are obliged to pay the full service fee.
  • If a player or even the entire group wishes to leave the game for any reason (e.g. they became frightened), they are obliged to pay the full service fee. Once a player leaves the game, they cannot rejoin the booking, nor wait in the reception area.
  • If a player wishes to use the restroom, they must do so before the game begins. During the game, use of the restroom is not permitted.
  • In the event of material damage, the player responsible is obliged to compensate the company immediately so that the damage can be repaired.
  • Players' personal belongings are locked away and kept safe during the game. If a player disobeys the rules and brings a personal item into the game area, our company bears no liability in the event of damage or loss. If they use a mobile phone, camera, or lighter in the game area, or any item that may damage the space or is deemed dangerous by staff, the game is automatically terminated for the entire group and they are obliged to pay the full booking amount.
  • The use of mobile phones, audio recording, and image capture during the game is prohibited.
  • Each player is responsible for their own personal safety and our company and our staff bear no liability in the event of physical or mental harm.
  • The store has a reception area, not a waiting area. Therefore, the group will enter only when all members are present. The group may enter up to 10 minutes before the start of their booking, so as not to create overcrowding in the reception area.

Closed-circuit television and game recording

The reception and front of the store are recorded for security purposes.

Certain rooms are recorded and there is the option to purchase game highlights as a souvenir. You will receive a short video with some of the best moments of the game. The entire group is aware that the game is being recorded and that if the video is purchased, any publication of it is prohibited. If it is observed that such a video was uploaded to social media against their wishes, the person who made the booking bears exclusive responsibility, as the video is sent to the email address stated on the booking.

Our company will never publish your personal moments from the rooms without your permission. If asked, you may grant us written permission to publish highlights exclusively for advertising purposes.

The video will be sent within 7 to 15 business days from the time of the booking. The recipient has 7 days to download it, as it is sent via a Transfer service. The recipient is obliged to check their email, as well as junk or spam folders, in order to download the video in time before it is deleted. If 7 days pass from the date of sending, there is an additional resend charge equal to half the price of the original video. Videos remain stored in the company's database for 30 days from the date of the booking, after which they are deleted and cannot be resent.

Delays – cancellations

The group must be at the store 10 minutes before the booking time.

In the event of a delay, time is deducted from the room's play time.

If the group is more than 15 minutes late for the booking, the booking will be cancelled without notice and the group must pay the minimum booking amount, as determined from the total amount for the minimum number of participants.

Our company maintains booking records and is also informed by the booking system of group cancellation rates. Our company reserves every right to require full prepayment of the booking and, in the event of refusal, to cancel it.

Bookings are made only with a deposit or prepayment. Only one (1) modification without charge is permitted up to 24 hours before the booking time. If the group cancels its booking up to 3 hours before the booking time, fails to show up, or is more than 15 minutes late for the booking, it is obliged to pay immediately to the company's bank account the minimum booking amount.

In the case of prepayment, if the number of persons is lower than declared, no refund is made.
